Head of Development
Salary: £36,755

Reprieve is looking to recruit a new Head of Development, who will be responsible for overseeing all of our fundraising and resource development work. They will manage a team of fundraisers, and work closely with the Operations Director and Executive Director.

The role is full time, and based at Reprieve's office in central London. 

Responsibilities:

  • To plan, coordinate, oversee and deliver Reprieve’s resource development activity.

  • To lead on researching and prospecting major donors, and to build and maintain excellent relationships with them, including ‘asks’, keeping them up to date with key developments at Reprieve, donor care, and any reports.

  • To support the Executive Director and relevant Resource Development officer on researching and prospecting trusts and foundations, and to build and maintain excellent relationships with them, including applications, reports and re-applications.

  • To line manage, support and motivate the Resource Development Officers, and occasional Resource development interns and volunteers.
  • To support the Executive Director, other directors and trustees in enhancing Reprieve’s public profile and reputation.
