Watch Clare Algar talk about Reprieve's drones work at TFN in London

During Obama's presidency the use of drone strikes has greatly increased. In this video, Reprieve's Executive Director Clare Algar gives four reasons for why this method of extrajudicial killing should be fought:

1. Drone attacks are based on the same untested intelligence that was used to send many innocent people to Guantánamo Bay.

2. Though some suspected terrorists might have been killed, many innocent civilians have also lost their lives in attacks in Yemen and Pakistan.

3. The constant threat of a strike can result in radicalization of people and increased hostility towards the nations controlling the drones.

4. The intelligence services - not the military - are operating the drones.
