Stephen Solley QC

Stephen Solley is a member of Reprieve’s Board of Trustees.

A QC since 1989, Stephen is a leading barrister at Charter Chambers, a major criminal set. 

Stephen is a criminal practitioner and his practice has encompassed a wide range of cases, from Howard Marks to Richard Madeley via Craig Charles, from the Brighton Bombers to the "Dirty Bombers", from BCCI to the National Bank of Hungary.

Stephen was Chairman of the Bar Human Rights Committee from 1999 - 2002.  He is a Bencher of Inner Temple and Board member of the Hackney Empire Theatre - "where theatre lives" - from 1996 to present.
