As Resource Development Manager, Laura is responsible for fundraising and Reprieve's network of donors and supporters.
Laura previously worked on police, race and diversity policy at the Home Office while also raising funds for Sing Zimbabwe, a theatre production taken to the Edinburgh festival in 2005.
In 2006 she travelled to Botswana and Mozambique, where she ran workshops on HIV/AIDs and co-produced a production of the Vagina Monologues and a sell-out show of Women’s Own Stories, written by local women. She also volunteered for the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights.
Laura then completed a three-month placement at the Louisiana Capital Assistance Center, assisting lawyers with work for clients facing the death penalty, before returning to London to work with Reprieve.
Laura holds a Bsc in Sociology from the London School of Economics.
