Katie Taylor

Katie works on Reprieve’s Life after Guantanamo Project, helping to facilitate the resettlement of ex-Guantanamo prisoners in Europe.

Katie holds a BA from Brown University in International Relations and a Master’s of International Affairs from Columbia University. She speaks fluent Arabic.

Katie joined Reprieve from War Child UK where she was both the Field Director for the Iraq programme and the Programme Development & Grants Co-ordinator for the Iraq and Afghanistan programmes. Prior to that, she worked in Palestine for eight years on human and child rights issues for a variety of local and international agencies, including the Palestinian National Authority. Katie started at Reprieve in October 2010.
