Jane Pickering

As Operations Director, Jane Pickering manages Reprieve’s London office on a day-to-day basis while providing additional expertise to the resource development teams and the directors.

Jane previously worked on resource development (both statutory and voluntary) at Penal Reform International and the UK Refugee Council. She has also held executive and non-executive posts in various smaller NGOs in the UK, juggling fundraising with high-level advocacy, financial and human resource management, office facilities co-ordination and reporting to stakeholders.

Jane holds a degree in Philosophy and Politics from Manchester University and has undertaken several Quaker trainings exploring alternative approaches to conflict resolution and peace-building. She joined Reprieve in April 2008.
