Fighting for the lives of people facing the death penalty
Who we are
Anna Morris, Reprieve Investigator

Anna Morris is a law graduate with an LLM in International Human Rights Law from Nottingham University. Before coming to Reprieve she completed the BVC, which she combined with working as a research assistant for Keir Starmer QC, working on constitutional challenges to the death penalty in the Caribbean. She spent the summer of 2005 working as a volunteer in Reprieve’s London office. As a Reprieve investigator, Anna spent the last three months of 2005 in the Phillippines working on the case of Paco Larranaga, a Spanish National on death row. Anna worked with local counsel, summarising the case file, interviewing witnesses and reviewing forensic evidence with the assistance of local experts. While in the Philippines, Anna also took part in three national dialogues on the death penalty and restorative justice, sponsored by the EU and the Commission for Human Rights of the Philippines.
