Harriet is an investigator with the Death Penalty Team. She works with Marc Callcutt on the cases of British nationals facing the death penalty in South East Asia and Africa.
Harriet first joined Reprieve as an intern in 2008, working in New Orleans. Whilst studying for the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Certificate, she volunteered for Reprieve in London, before returning to the USA to run LCAC's client welfare project. She joined Reprieve as investigator in the autumn of 2011.
Before focussing on a career in law Harriet studied English at University College London. During university she taught English as a Second Language with Crisis and the Refugee Council in London and Birmingham. She has also lived and worked in Italy and Spain.
