Emmanuelle focuses on public eduction about the death penalty, producing articles, images and video material for Reprieve's campaigns and appeals.

Emmanuelle has a French degree in communication and advertising, and has also studied art photography at the New School of Social research in New York.

After her graduation in 1986, she spent eight years in advertising agencies, working on international campaigns for blue chip companies, before becoming a photographer. Her work on portraiture is part of different museums collections and has been presented in numerous museums and gallery exhibitions, including at the Hayward Gallery in London.

Now involved in human rights issues, Emmanuelle is the President of a French charity in charge of raising funds and promoting the story of a death row prisoner in Florida, a work she carries on doing in parallel to her contribution to Reprieve.
