As EC Project Coordinator, David leads Reprieve's drive to identify and assist European nationals on death row in the United States.

David joined Reprieve from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (seconded by Prisoners Abroad), where he worked as a Human Rights Adviser.

Prior to that, he worked in the refugee sector, preparing and presenting asylum/human rights applications and appeals, initially in private practice then at the Refugee Legal Centre. He also undertook an internship at the Independent Jamaica Council for Human Rights (IJCHR) in Kingston Jamaica, where he worked on death penalty cases.

David has a BSc in Politics and International Relations from the University of Southampton, an LLM in Human Rights Law from the University of Nottingham, and a Graduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law.
