Working in London as EC Project Assistant, Chaitanya assists European nationals on death row in the US.
Chaitanya graduated from University College London with a degree in English. He went on to do his Graduate Diploma in Law at City University and his Bar Vocational Course at BPP Law School. Chaitanya is a member of the Free Representation Unit, providing pro bono representation in employment law cases. He has previously worked with the National Centre for Domestic Violence and the Islington Law Centre. Chaitanya joined Reprieve as a volunteer on the death penalty team to develop his interests in public international and criminal law, after being called to the Bar. He now works for Reprieve’s EC project assisting with capital cases and conducting outreach to Europe.
