Three days. Only three days to film nine inspirational women in Great Britain who have agreed to support the fight we have started to save Linda Carty's life on Texas Death Row.
The women are actresses, writers, TV presenters: Martina Cole, Juliet Stevenson, Anna Chancellor, Diane Louise Jordan, Martha Lane Fox, Esther Freud, Margaret Busby, Pauline Melville and Clare Algar (from Reprieve).
Linda is dangerously close to execution, due to the fact that she has had a catastrophically unfair trial. She may face execution as soon as this summer if her last appeal fails. This is why we desperately need people to sign the petition to save Linda's life.
We have been fortunate enough to come across the most amazing women, who have each managed to give fifteen minutes of their busy life to get filmed in order to support our fight, in the context of the International Women's Day. They have not only given us their time: they also have put their name behind it.
Having had the privilege to be closely involved in this filming, one thing I can say is this: The sense of dedication and personal commitment I got from those women featured in the film, has personally deeply moved me. There can be no dispute over the fact that women can definitely move the whole universe when they want to.
Many thanks to them all. What they have done is both really unique and courageous.
And please don't forget to sign the petition! You too can help save British grand mother Linda Carty's lfe.
